The Sutton Duffle

Full-grain buffalo leather, cut and stitched in our own workshop. The color isn't uniform on purpose — buffalo hide takes tanning unevenly, so every bag comes out with its own shading, deeper in some places than others. That's the leather, not an imperfection.

Structured enough to hold its shape packed or empty, with three adjustable straps across the front that cinch it down and keep the load steady, not swinging as you move. The top handle and shoulder strap are both stitched, not riveted, at the stress points — riveted handles are usually the first thing to fail on a heavy duffle.

Inside: one main compartment, wide enough for a few days of clothes without digging for anything, plus interior pockets for the small things you don't want loose at the bottom. Side pockets on the exterior for shoes or anything you don't want touching your clothes.

Brass hardware throughout, left unlacquered so it ages alongside the leather instead of staying artificially shiny. Expect the leather to darken and the edges to soften with use — that's full-grain leather doing exactly what it's supposed to do.
